The club's most recent service prouject was in working with the town of Randolph to implement sign gardens. Members of the club negotiated with the town for the project, planned and implemented the landscaping. The club continues maintenance of the sign garden.
In summer 2013 Randolph Garden Club completed a Blue Star Memorial near the Town Gazebo. This program honors service men and women. The program is part of a larger project to refresh plantings in Randolph’s Gazebo Park. Members of the club also install and maintain the house plants that brighten the public spaces at Gifford Medical Center. In Spring 2010, Randolph Garden Club received a Habitat for Humanity landscaping grant from the Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont in the amount of $325. The grant has been used to provide landscaping at the Habitat house completed in November 2010 on Friend Street in Randolph. |
